What is a "Labor-Only" Moving Service?
While big moving companies provide you with transportation, and equipment (dollies, furniture pads etc.), we only provide the most important item: labor (i.e. movers). Getting the moving truck yourself and hiring a small local company (like us) to only help you load/unload your furniture and packed belongings has proven to be the cheapest way to move. When you provide your own rental truck, you only pay the conventional price for it (no imposed higher prices). Then you hire us (movers). The price you pay for "movers only" is also lower! And, do not forget, for the lower price you get experienced, professional movers!
We do:
Loading/unloading, safely packing your truck for the long drive, help with dis/assembly of furniture.
Most companies will usually put you through a lengthy process of giving you estimate (quote) and according to some difficulty factors (number of flights of stairs to walk, whether or not
there are boxes of books etc.), the price usually gets higher.
We do NOT do that! Hire us, hourly! The price is the same regardless of the difficulty factors!
